Library copywriting: WOW

We’re boasting!

There was a two-week training “Library copywriting: WOW” started headed by an energetic and charming principal of a social organization “ The century of opportunities” Lilianna Semenyuta  in our library on the first day of spring. 

And it started whirling!

  There were all the rules offended at the time of our meetings in a reading room: the participants were running around, waving their hands, moving about furniture, talking loud, shouting over each other and even laughing. 

Flashing brainstorm resulted in three ideas generated

1)How to gain multimedia equipment for the branch No.22

2) How to attract financing and make replenishment of the Brailer fund of the library- branch No. 17 for the blind regular.

3) How to create a “nocturnal library” on the base of  Belinskiy city library .

We looked at our work with reader’s eyes. And we decided: the site needs to be updated, relieving and new design. We already work on the new image of our internet- representation.

We counted up: 10 our participants wrote – easily and inspiringly – more than 40 different by their genres texts in course of the training. Our talents opened and bloomed!

The ball is over, yet the candles haven’t gone out yet! 

It’s the last day of the training but we don’t want to farewell. Do we farewell at all?! We, inspired by one another and enriched with ideas, go to our working places to make all we made up true.

What will we take with ourselves? 

Interesting sincere texts, written by girls. Cheerful and creative group in Facebook. New knowledge about us and our colleagues, courage to create, the list of the projects, which are waiting for the start. 

What do we have to do? 

Update and refresh the site of Belinskiy central city library, maintain informative fullness of the Facebook groups, not to be afraid, to smile, dream and act. 

Our librarian girls are dreamers. But we believe in you. What did the great say?

The course is coming to its endand the photos remain, the sense of joy and implication  to the changes and the comments… For instance like that:

“Lilianna! Thank you that you rustied our marsh”…

“… Collective mind generated many interesting aims”

“…A sea of positive, the attitude to oneself, to the work, to the social surrounding is changed. A lot of plans appeared, a wish of changing ourselves  and our  lives appeared…”

I have always been dreaming of finding myself among books and the keepers of knowledge. The universe has been knowing it for a long time and only now decided to introduce Maria Yudinam the accelerator of librarian changes to me- that’s how our course was born) We were talking about copywriting and a belief in ourselves, about a context and self- esteem, genres and styles and self- realization. We made up several perfect projects on the audience’s attraction, developed the ways of realization, but the most important… the participants got acquainted with one another one more time! Working for years, we do not know those who we meet at work. Perfectly unique individualities! Talented! In love with the Book and the Reader!!!
